A Baby or an Ebook?
For years I’ve had people tell me I should write a book, and like I’ve said before, it might be because I’m, well, so…..wordy, or it could be because the Lord blessed me with the ability to communicate what I’m thinking. Now depending on who you talk to, this might be a good thing, or a bad one! :o) – I can hear my adult children snickering as I type! – Oh, and is that my husband, too?
Well, anyway, I’ve wanted to write ‘that book’ for years. Just one where I share my ideas and tips on raising my family and what God has taught me over the years. But like the old jump rope song, “First comes love, then comes marriage, then comes baby in a baby carriage”……..my life right now begins with, “First comes journaling, then comes blogging, then comes (maybe!) an ebook.”
Sound Advice for Loving Your Family
So when I came across this ebook, 4 Moms, 35 Kids, the other day, I thought I’d share it with you because these women have done what I won’t do for a few more years! It’s written by four mom-bloggers who share tips, ideas, and musings on raising families, with their expertise being large families. Even if you don’t have an above-average sized family, there’s lots in here that will give you what you’re looking for – sound advice for raising and training and loving any children that the good Lord has given you! It offers answers to 17 of the most frequently asked questions from 4 moms of 35+ kids.
I haven’t finished it yet, but in the chapters I have read, I’ve laughed, pondered, and gained new ideas about providing for the needs of my family, while reviewing the why’s and how’s of our family’s life together. Each mom’s personality comes out in their writing, with one family’s humorous antics reminding us that we’re all human, and another’s experience or wisdom offering a much needed idea or inspiration for our own family.
So consider adding this ebook to your daily reading. I encourage you to begin your day with Scripture to renew your spirit, and then add something to renew and motivate your vision for your role as wife, mother, homemaker, and homeschool teacher. And this ebook fits the bill!
